When you heal, we all feel it!

Are you finding that your usual ‘go to’ list of self care/self soothing things just isn’t cutting it? Perhaps you’re experiencing health issues (either new or old) bubbling up or childhood wounds and issues from the past are being triggered? If you’ve been experiencing some pretty dense heavy energy of late or any/all of the above, then please know that you aren’t alone! There are a couple of things that we have been feeling into that have been working in tandem creating a sort of *double whammy* energy effect on many of us. Firstly, the dense energy that many of us are feeling is the fear, uncertainty, hatred and negativity which has been dislodged from the riverbed of the collective consciousness and is now floating on the surface in full glaring view. This dredge (that was conveniently settled on the bottom of the riverbed out of view for many years before) has risen to the surface in every area of human life and, as a result, can no longer be ignored which, despite being a good thing in our view …

You are a reality-creator

We (LJ and I) often find ourselves meditating on and discussing topics such as the nature of reality because, instinctively, we feel that this is intrinsically linked with unlocking and re-harnessing our true power as creators of reality. What is reality? We can’t answer that question with any degree of scientific certainty (we are not scientists) and neither can our modern day scientists, but our personal intuitive sense aligns with the view point put forward by the founding father of quantum theory, Max Planck and pioneering physicist Sir James Jean: “I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness.” ~ Max Planck “The stream of knowledge is heading toward a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine. Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of matter, we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter. Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual.” ~ Sir James Jean What we feel and sense to …

100% Responsibility

Recently, a beautiful friend of mine gave me an article which posed the question: “What would the world look like if everybody took 100% responsibility for everything within their realm of experience?” On first posing myself this question my inner voice arced up immediately and indignantly: “Don’t be silly Anna, remember how you have an over-inflated sense of responsibility as it is…how can you possibly take responsibility for what other people do! You’re only responsible for yourself!” Logically speaking that voice was making complete sense, because how can we possibly hold ourselves responsible for everyone and everything merely because it is in our sphere of awareness, but then another little inner voice said quietly, “but we’re all one and this is our collective creation“. As a note of caution here, I think it’s important to clarify the difference between: taking 100% responsibility for what goes on inside of you vs feeling responsible for how other people feel. These two things are very different because the former is about self-love and healing yourself whilst the latter is about not being differentiated from others and wanting …

Why every pregnant woman deserves a Blessing way Ceremony

Up until very recently I didn’t really know what a Blessing way Ceremony was nor what one entailed. I’d seen photos of women with beautiful henna covered bellies wearing crowns of flowers, but I hadn’t understood the significance of what it all symbolised. I’ve only been to a few baby showers in my life and they were all lovely, but I observed that it was more focused on the baby and preparing the mother practically. There didn’t seem to be much time for the pregnant woman to reflect on how she was feeling and it certainly wasn’t the deeper spiritual ritual that I instinctively knew that I wanted. I chose not to have a baby shower when I was pregnant with my first but, during this (my second pregnancy), after looking in to Blessing ways further, I felt like I had finally found a way of celebrating this life event in a way that was meaningful to me.

The Power of Music

The other day, Big Dutch and I treated ourselves to a belated wedding anniversary treat and went to see the 2Cellos live at the Forum in Melbourne. If you haven’t heard of them before it’s definitely worth checking them out….two lads from Croatia playing the cello in ways cellos haven’t really been played before…it blew our minds!!! Such a magnificent musical experience which I recommend to ANYONE who has the opportunity to go see them live….totally unique experience! The guys had the entire audience standing up and jumping and singing in unison, interspersed with tummy aching laughter (because one of the lads, Stjepan Hauser who looks a bit like Joey from *Friends*, is also a bit of an amusing character).
