Soul Medicine for Heart Centred Living

Heart Centred Living is about manifesting the life you desire by living life from your heart space which is the part of us that is connected to Source. We all have an open channel to Source (if we tune in) to consciously communicate what we wish to manifest in our lives by matching our energetic vibration to the vibration of what we desire. One of the main challenges for us (and likely many others) in manifesting what we wish to experience, is that it’s so easy for the daily *must do’s*  and *distractions* of life to dominate our minds and emotions and leave us in our head space rather than our heart space. Because of this, we wanted to create a soul medicine tool to use daily, which would help bring us back to our heart space because we believe changing the world outside of ourselves begins with changing the world inside of ourselves. The Soul Medicine for Heart Centred Living Affirmation: We created a simple, yet powerful, affirmation around which we could build a simple daily ritual to help us start each day from a …

Sweet Robin

I found myself crying the other day as I watched a heartfelt tribute by Billy Crystal to the late Robin Williams. So, why was I sat there crying over the loss of someone I didn’t personally know and whose films and comedy shows I’d only really ever watched if they happened to be on the TV (it’s not like I was an out and out fan or anything)? I’ve spent the last few days pondering this and I think I have an answer of sorts….. Perhaps, as human beings, we instinctively want to belong (not only for evolutionary safety purposes) because somewhere deep down inside our souls we all feel this longing to be connected. Indeed, it is MY belief that we ARE all connected on an energetic level (reiki has demonstrated that to me in abundance) but this doesn’t mean that one necessarily *feels* connected. Understanding that we are all part of this *oneness* (for want of a better word) is vastly different from feeling like we actually ARE part of it. In fact, I know many people who do or …

Standing in your Power

I have been afraid…there…I said it. It’s one thing to stand in your truth, (your true power), behind closed doors with the folks you know love you unconditionally, but quite another to put yourself…not the carefully crafted persona you wear but the real you…out there (like on this blog for example). I’ve always talked about the things I believe in and enjoy on this blog (handmade work, meeting creative folk, art, traditional chinese medicine, loving yourself and your body, food, animals etc) and shared my experiences but none of them have really been about the real me, because I was afraid….I worried that if I peeled back the curtain to expose my oz-ness (as in *wizard of* not *aussie = oz* lol) then people might run the other way. I guess, like many, I was afraid to be judged, but I’ve come to realise that it doesn’t matter what other people think of me (everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that) because my purpose is to be my true self and stop …

Happy 2014

Happy New Year everyone! I’ve got a feeling that 2014 is going to be ALL about the *happy* for me (not that 2013 didn’t have its moments) but this new year feels good. A certain monsieur Pharrell Williams hits the nail on the head for moi (^_-) I think 2013 was a bit of an *admin year* for the big dutch and I…you know a year of getting stuff that needed to be done *DONE* and 2014 is the calendar equivalent of that feeling after you’ve done those things you’ve HAD to do….yeah, 2014 is where the fun really starts and I finally get to delve into all the nurturing inner work I want and NEED to do!
